Business was booming last month with a few commissioned pieces:
So my mom asked if she could come and help play with the children while I painted:
Henry’s party was fun, and he loves all his fantastic gifts. Thanks to you all!
One of my paintings was accepted and is now hanging for sale in the Quayside Gallery’s Juried Art Exhibit:
The Later Hours, Oil on canvas
I want to swap. So I joined in on SeaBird’s craft swap. Stay tuned to see how that developes.
While painting last week, Miles strolled into the office to view my painting. After a moderately harsh critique, he asked if he could paint too. So, here he is painting The Fire Pond:
Kudos to the Trinitas Drama Club for a good evening of Our Town.
Pascha was just a couple of weekends ago, and I loved it. The songs we sing in the Orthodox church are the best. “Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and upon those in the tomb bestowing life!” How triumphant! Our church also had the best feast and easter egg hunt I have ever witnessed.
What else? The Flanner book deal is all settled. My painting will be on the cover of the biography by Brad Gooch that is due out next year.
Our old friends came to visit last weekend:
Henry thought that blue rental car that they brought was Herbie. My boys call all VWs Herbie.
Next big thing: Sean and Sarah‘s wedding, and a trip to the Space museum. Then it will be summer. Yeah!
