Aww, Clive looks great! Hope you get loads of commissions from it. Who is the fencing painting for?

Thanks. Your photo of Clive is so good. It is a challenge for me to get it right. All the different shades of white are beautiful, and the warm blue color is lovely. I actually painted this twice, but the first one failed because that blue was impossible to mix with the tube colors that I had. I actually went and bought some different pigments to help me get it. I still feel like I need to try again. I might do one more oil painting from that photo if I get time.

The fencing painting is for sale, but I have not decided where to put it. I have a frame coming in the mail for it. Once it is all put together, it may go into a local art bar or into my etsy shop.

I love the fencers. There’s this kind of subtle energy in the painting, which I noticed right away because my brother fenced for a few years. The blades sort of disappear though.
