Today I happily dropped off 8 paintings at a gallery/framer in Fairhope, Alabama. It is a lovely place called Lyons Share. Check it out here. One of the paintings I left is below, called “The Seagull.”







It was a busy and fun night. Thanks to all who came to view. My camera, of course, ran out of batteries, so I have just a couple shots. I had 16 pieces hung and also some smaller matted originals on the table. The show is all taken down and back at my house, so if you did not get to see the show, come on over and take a look.
Roundhouse Gallery in Fort Collins, Colorado is a new gallery displaying representational artists. Many of them are from the college I graduated from, Pensacola Christian College. Brian Jekel is still a painting teacher at the college, and today is the opening of his first one-man show at Roundhouse.
Recently Roundhouse hosted a miniature sketch show, and I am happy to have won the peoples’ choice award with this sketch of C.S. Lewis:
